Painting, at the level we provide it, is a luxury, not a necessity. A home requires electricity, plumbing and running water. A flawless finish, applied with precision across every surface, is something chosen. It is a decision about how a space looks, feels and endures, and a reflection of the standard to which everything else in the home has been held.
We exist for homeowners who understand that distinction, and who will accept nothing less than a service standard to match. If you are chasing the cheapest quote, we are honestly not your painter, and that is completely fine.
Built across two generations.
It began in the early 1990s, when Paul emigrated from South Korea to Australia, searching for a better life for the family he would build. Despite English being a second language, his instinct with materials and a discipline forged through generations of family craftsmanship built a quiet reputation across Sydney's eastern suburbs, one client at a time, without a single advertisement.
Today the company is led by Joshua, the second generation. After years living in Europe, he returned with a sharpened eye for what genuine service looks like. The communication before work begins. The professionalism on site. The discretion within a client's home. The precision at handover.

Protect & test
Every surface, fitting and floor protected. Moisture and adhesion tested before a drop of paint goes on.
Inspect under raking light
Angled light reveals what a normal look misses. Every defect marked and photographed, so nothing is painted over and blamed on us later.
Prepare & prime
Filled, sanded with HEPA extraction, then primed on every bare substrate. The unglamorous part that decides the whole finish.
Colour on the wall
Sample patches seen in your home's own light, so you commit to the right colour before we coat a single room.
Coat, sand, check
Brush and roller throughout, sanded between every coat, film thickness checked so the finish is even wall to wall.
Walkthrough & handover
A formal walk with you under natural and artificial light. The defect log, and records of every product, colour and batch, handed over.
Non-negotiable minimumPrimer on all bare substrates. Two full finish coats. Sanding between every coat. This is our floor, not our ceiling. All work to AS/NZS 2311:2017 and the Home Building Act 1989 (NSW), backed by a 24 month workmanship commitment. The full eleven stage system is documented and shared with your quote.

An interior by Greg Natale, built by 4x4 Built. Walls and ceilings in premium flat and low-sheen. All trim and joinery in oil semi-gloss, brush applied by hand for a depth roller application cannot replicate.

Here is how it works. No quoting off photos, no rough guess over the phone. I spend 60 to 90 minutes walking your home, measuring up and checking every surface, so the price I give you is one you can rely on. Bring whoever is deciding with you.

The price I quote is the price you pay. If the scope changes, say you add a room or we find hidden damage, you hear about it and we agree it in writing first. Never a surprise at the end.
